    2. Description of Service

    PaperOutlineAI provides AI-powered academic writing assistance including topic analysis, outline generation, and draft creation. The service is intended to support and enhance your writing process, not to replace original academic work. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the originality of all content produced.

    3. User Accounts

    You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

    4. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to use PaperOutlineAI to submit AI-generated content as entirely your own work in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies. You shall not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform. Automated scraping or bulk content generation is prohibited.

    5. Intellectual Property

    Content you create using PaperOutlineAI remains your intellectual property. We retain rights to the platform's technology, design, and AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

    6. Subscription and Billing

    Free accounts are subject to daily usage limits. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused portions of annual subscriptions.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    PaperOutlineAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any academic consequences resulting from the use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

    8. Account Termination

    We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

    9. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Tokyo, Japan.
